Hello

My name is Hanad and I’m a DC based photographer.

My cheat code is that I have a 20 year career in advertising and marketing. My love of photography has led me to start telling stories with my cameras. I focus on environmental portraits, fitness, and lifestyle photography.

When I’m not lugging around my cameras on shoots, I can be found practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, listening to podcasts, watching The Wire for the 412th time, and taking so long to make an Uber eats decision that the restaurant I’m ordering from shuts down for the night and we go to plan B. It’s a good time.

PS – weird name, I know. From Somalia. Grew up in Ethiopia. So that answers that.
